Top 10 Business Opportunity Signs
Monday, October 1st, 2007Hi, my name is …. and I’m a business opportunity seeker.
Sound familiar? So many of us online are looking for the right business opportunity. We hear the tales and want a piece of the action. It’s the promise of better things and easy money that brings us online to begin with. Qualifier: Most of us.
The problem is when we cross over and become opportunity seekers.
Here are the top 10 signs that you’re an opportunity seeker:
- you can’t pass up any link that says ‘job killer’ or ‘ditch your boss’
- or a link that says ‘work from home in your pyjamas’
- or a link that says ‘make $500/day without spending a dime’
- or a link that says ‘6-figure income in only 6-minutes a day’
More serious indicators are:
- your email inbox is overflowing with great offers and ’secrets’
- you are subscribed to 10 or more lists
- you just haveta click on the email in case you ‘miss’ something
- your harddrive and desktop is filled with products and bonuses and freebies that you downloaded and now have no idea what they are, where they came from or why you wanted them in the first place
- your business plan swerves like the Indy 500 with each new flavor-of-the-day business opportunity. In other words, you’re going in circles.
And the number one most serious indicator of all:
- You spend hours online with very little to show for it at the end of the day. Except new downloads, new ideas, more information and you feel excited… and then, not so much.
Guess what? As opportunity seekers, we’re prime targets for the dream sellers. Wanting something so badly, being willing to throw the dice on ‘this’ opportunity or ‘that’ one makes us easy pickins’ .
There’s a few tricks the dream sellers use to get your attention, draw you in and have you send them money. Once you identify them, you can protect yourself and not be sucked in as often.
I’ll be talking about that in my next post. See you then.
