Staying motivated when the heat is on…
Tuesday, June 26th, 2007I’ve been following a thread on an Internet Marketing forum about how to stay motivated. It’s a great thread and we’re all being philosophical, waxing poetic and providing some really good insights and tips.
I left the the computer for a bit - my eyes were sore, I needed to stretch, my project wasn’t moving forward as quickly as I wanted. Zipped out to the van to pick up my iPod.
It’s 108 degrees where I am today. 108 F. 42.2 C. That is hot, no matter how you slice it.
While I was picking up my iPod, I noticed that across the street, in the heat of the day, there is a small group of people on top of a house, pouring a new roof.
Hmmm. Roof. 108. Hot tar.
Back to the computer it is….
The best way to stay motivated is to keep your goal firmly in mind. People are making money on the Internet, every day. It can be you next. It can be me. Keep plugging away and chances are good you won’t find yourself on a roof pouring tar.
